What we collect
- Emails you send us. If you email the desk, we receive your address and anything you include. The contact composer runs entirely in your browser; it does not transmit or store what you type.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
- Consent preferences. If you make a cookie choice, that choice is stored on your device.
Why and on what basis
We process emails to answer you and verify release information (legitimate interests). We process server logs to keep the site secure (legitimate interests). Optional cookies, where used, rely on your consent.
Retention
Correspondence is kept for up to 24 months. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days unless needed to investigate abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who host the site or our email, under written agreements, or where the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing. Email us to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
